Eldik Bank Participates in the Central Asian Climate Change Conference in Ashgabat.

From May 13 to 15, 2025, the city of Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, is hosting a major regional event — the Central Asian Climate Change Conference under the theme: “Achieving the Global Climate Finance Goal through Regional and National Actions in Central Asia.”

Eldik Bank is proud to be the only bank in Central Asia to deliver a presentation at the session titled “Climate Finance in the Kyrgyz Republic: Transforming Local Banks into Global Partners.” Aizhan Kariyeva, Head of the ESG Sustainable Development Department, shared the bank’s experience in green finance, the implementation of climate-oriented financial products, partnerships with international institutions, and strategies for reducing the carbon footprint.

The conference served as a key platform for discussing the macroeconomic impact of climate change, assessing risks and sustainable transition opportunities, and developing scenarios and policies in the field of climate finance.
