Eldik Bank received a license for depository activities
OJSC "Eldik Bank" is the first and only bank in Kyrgyzstan that received a license to carry out depository activities in the securities market.
Eldik Bank is actively developing the area of investment banking services, one of which is depository activities.
Obtaining a license means that Eldik Bank will now be able to store and record securities and other financial assets of clients, as well as manage these securities.
Currently, the bank has become a full-fledged depository bank (custodial), which plans to provide the following services:
- storage and accounting of assets accepted for custodial services;
- carrying out nominal holding of securities;
- conducting transactions with securities on the domestic and international markets;
- functions of a paying agent for transactions with securities;
- receipt and crediting of securities income to the client’s account;
- securities lending operations, etc.
- “Eldik Bank is the first and only bank to receive this license. We are starting to build an international-level depository, which in the future will be connected with world depositories, developing the securities market in the country, says Chairman of the Board Ulanbek Nogaev.
On October 4, 2024, the Service for Regulation and Supervision of the Financial Market under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic issued a license to the bank.

It is the system of depositories that record information about transactions on exchanges that makes trading on the stock market possible.
