Happy 35th anniversary of the adoption of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On the State Language of the Kyrgyz Republic”

On behalf of Eldik Bank OJSC, I would like to congratulate you on the 35th anniversary of the adoption of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On the State Language of the Kyrgyz Republic” on September 23, 2024 - the historical day when the Kyrgyz language acquired the status of the state language!

Language is the priceless wealth of the state, a spiritual treasure that continues our national roots and values.

We all know well from historical sources that the Kyrgyz language also experienced various ups and downs in its development, just as the development of human society was subject to various historical events.

On September 23, 1989, the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz SSR adopted the law “On the State Language of the Kyrgyz SSR”, after which the Kyrgyz language was given the status of the state language.

This law was updated in 2004 by the Legislative Assembly of the Jogorku Kenesh, where the Kyrgyz language was declared the state language and Russian the official language.

It must be emphasized that within the framework of this law, Eldik Bank OJSC works, focusing on the use of relevant legal acts in the banking system of the Kyrgyz Republic in the state language, as well as providing customer service in the state language.

There is no doubt that the formation and further development of the Kyrgyz Republic as an independent state largely depends on our cultural attitude towards the state language.

Therefore, let each of us, as a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic, continue to be responsible for promoting the dignity of the Kyrgyz language at a high level and on a wide scale!
